THE Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 11 suspected drug dealers and recovered sixty-eight bags of cannabis in a major crackdown on drug trafficking within the nation’s capital.
According to a statement issued on Saturday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the suspects were apprehended in a series of coordinated raids carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Unit across identified drug black spots in the FCT.
She disclosed that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to disrupt criminal supply networks and reduce drug-induced crimes in the territory.
“These arrests mark a major step forward in dismantling criminal supply chains, curbing drug-induced crimes, and ensuring that harmful substances are kept away from our communities,” Adeh said.
