Three Arrested After Attack On Boys Brigade Camp

ABUJA – The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has made a breakthrough in its investigation into the recent attack on a Boys Brigade camp in Zhayidna Village, Orozo, which tragically led to the death of a young camper, Johnson John.
According to a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, three suspects have been apprehended following a coordinated operation led by CSP Mbang Usang, Divisional Police Officer of Karshi Division. The arrests were made possible through credible intelligence and digital tracking of the deceased’s mobile phones.
The suspects—Stanley Ukweze, Dauda Yohana, and Gemu Adamu—all residents of Wasa Village in Karshi, were found in possession of three mobile phones, two of which have been identified as belonging to the deceased victim.

The trio is currently in custody and will be formally charged to court upon conclusion of the investigation.
Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao S. Adewale, reiterated the Command’s commitment to conducting a thorough and uncompromising investigation, assuring the public of justice for the victim and his family.
The Command also extended gratitude to residents, community leaders, and youth stakeholders for their cooperation and urged the public to remain calm and law-abiding.
