Suspected Fulani Terrorists Kill Husband, Abduct Wife On Honeymoon

SUSPECTED Fulani bandits, on Wednesday night, shot a newly-wedded man and kidnapped his wife to an unknown destination in a community in Nasarawa State.

It was gathered that the assailants invaded the home of the newly-wedded couple at about 11:00p.m, shot the man and abducted his wife.

The incident took place at Akaleku village in Obi Local Government Area along Lafia/Makurdi Highway, it was further gathered.

Identified as Mr and Mrs Alu Anzaku, the couple wedded on April 12, barely two weeks ago.

They were believed to be observing their honeymoon when assailants descended on them.

Police have yet to speak on the situation just as the abductors are yet to contact the family of the wife.
