A suspect was arrested and has been charged after he allegedly broke into a business and stole valuable items, including a cash register.
The 25-year-old suspect, Calvin Jacobe Theus, according to a press release by Houston Police Department, has been charged with felony burglary of a building.
CrimesChroniclers learnt that Theus broke into a business at 7555 Long Point Rd. about 5 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, while residents and businesses were recovering from Hurricane Beryl.
Operatives of Houston Police Department located the suspect near the scene after which he was taken into custody after a foot pursuit.
Also, all stolen items and a cash register were recovered.
