Houston police files charges against suspect arrested for killing man

AUTHORITIES in Houston have filed charges against a suspect arrested in the death of a male at 13300 Cullen Boulevard about 4:40 a.m. on May 12.

According to Houston Police Department, the suspect, Sharon Renee Mitchell, 44, is charged with murder in the 179th State District Court.

CrimesChroniclers reports that the deceased male is identified as 43-year-old Timothy Grims.

Houston Police Department Homicide Division Sergeant A. Lopez and Detective N. Sharp reported:

“HPD patrol officers responded to a vehicle crash at the above address and found a male trapped underneath an SUV.

“Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased.

“A female driver, later identified as Mitchell, was detained at the scene, questioned and released.

“Further investigation determined Mitchell was responsible for Grims’ death and, on May 30, a murder warrant was filed.

“Mitchell was arrested on Saturday (June 1) without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.”
