CHARGES have been filed against a suspect in the assault of a man at 8950 Glencrest Street about 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9.
CrimesChroniclers gathered that the 33-year-old suspect, Miguel Angel Guerrero Hernandez, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 262 State District Court.
Houston Police Department Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective A. Otero reported:
“HPD patrol officers responded to a crash call at the above address and learned a man, 43, had suffered a leg injury after a vehicle struck him.
“Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital.
“Investigators learned Guerrero Hernandez struck the victim with his vehicle during a domestic dispute and fled the scene.
“Officers later located him and he was taken into custody.
“The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and Guerrero Hernandez was subsequently charged.”
