Troops of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI have rescued two kidnapped victims abducted from the Ngoshe community.
A statement by the media information officer Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, said the victims, identified as Maryam Muhammad and her one year old son, Bello Muhammad, were among those abducted during the terrorist attack on Ngoshe 3 March 2026, and held at a terrorist enclave within the Mandara Mountains, before escaping following intense military Operations on terrorist hideouts.
Similarly, two additional family members, identified as Binta Umaru and her 2 year old daughter, Hafsat Ibrahim, escaped from another terrorist enclave within the Mandara Mountains and surrendered to troops deployed along Gwoza–Limankara road.
