The Anambra State Police Command says it has arrested one suspected cultist after breaking into their gathering at Abagana Street, Fegge, Onitsha.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga says a 25-year-old suspect, Chinedu Ike was caught in the police net while others fled the scene.
It notes that the suspect allegedly confessed to being a member of the Vikings Confraternity.
The Commissioner of Police, Nnanna Oji Ama, has directed that the case be transferred to the Violence and Cult-Related Crimes Unit for further investigation, while efforts are on to arrest the fleeing members.
The Command urges the public to always provide useful information for prompt action.
