Sacrilege: Gunmen Invade Church, Shoot Pastor, Abduct Six

In what is considered a sacrilege, some insane gunmen have invaded a church, shot the Lead Pastor and abducted six members.

The shot cleric is the General Overseer of Elyon Paradise Ministry, Pastor Divine Omodia, while the church is located in Ogwashi-Uku community of Delta State.

The sacrilege was committed during the church’s vigil last Friday.

It was gathered that some members of the church, including women and children, sustained injuries during the attack.

Sources said the General Overseer, Omodia, was swiftly conveyed to an undisclosed hospital where he is currently battling with his life.

It is not yet ascertained if the gunmen have reached out to the families of abducted church members.

Meanwhile, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO ), SP Bright Edafe, has confirmed the incident.
