A series of random and violent attacks carried out by a man in Chinatown, US, is under investigation by law enforcement agents.
The suspect, identified as Hongyang Yin, allegedly assaulted multiple people, including an 11-year-old boy, during a chaotic hour-long rampage on Saturday.
Victims Speak Out
Susan Yoc, who was with her 11-year-old son, recounted the terrifying encounter:
“He put his hand on my son’s head, and when my son recoiled, he started punching him in the face.”
Yoc intervened, but Yin began beating her as well.
Witness Accounts
Witness Angie Hong described the scene:
“The guy was speaking Chinese, saying, ‘I want to kill everyone.’ A bystander tried to stop him, and he became even more aggressive.”
Heroic Intervention
A Good Samaritan, who suffered a broken hand, intervened and subdued Yin until authorities arrived. Witnesses praised the hero’s bravery.
Charges and Investigation
Yin faces charges of injury to a child, assault, and criminal mischief.
