13 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested In Benin City

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Benin Zonal Directorate, has arrested 13 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Benin City, Edo State.

The arrests, CrimesChroniclers learnt, were made after the EFCC received credible intelligence linking the suspects to fraudulent online activities.

Several items were recovered from the suspects at the time of their arrest, including five exotic cars and mobile phones.

The suspects have provided useful information during questioning and will face charges in court once the investigation is complete.
