A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of his mother’s fiancé, Randall Jolly, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred on Sunday at the Cornerstone Ranch Apartments in west Harris County.
Deputies responded to the scene and found Jolly, 40, with a fatal stab wound. Despite medical attention, Jolly was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations revealed that Jolly and his fiancée were engaged in an argument when the teenager intervened and stabbed Jolly.
The nature of the argument remains unclear.
The teenager was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department.
