Sokoto Police Arrest Man for Alleged Killing of 15-Year-Old Wife

THE Delta State Police Command has rescued a kidnapped teenager, arrested a suspected kidnapper, and busted a criminal hideout in separate operations that also led to the arrest of 27 suspects.

Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed in a statement that operatives of Agbor Division, led by DPO CSP Obekpa Michael, stormed the residence of one Bila Halili, 30, in Oza Nogogo community.

Halili, from Sokoto State, was found with 17-year-old Rebecca Mathew, who had been declared missing in Niger State since 2 September. The girl revealed she had been lured from her home, hypnotised, and her SIM card destroyed before being taken away.
