Lagos Ministry Rescues Woman Who Tried to Report the Sun to Police

THE Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development has rescued a well-dressed woman believed to be mentally unstable after she attempted to file a complaint against the sun at a police station.

According to reports, the incident occurred over the weekend when the woman took an Uber ride from Lekki to the Panti Police Station, where she tried to lodge the unusual complaint. Concerned individuals alerted the Ministry after observing her distress.

Responding swiftly, the Ministry’s Rescue Team located and assisted the woman, later taking her to one of the state-owned rehabilitation centres for medical and psychological care.

The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende, praised the Rescue Team for their prompt and professional handling of the situation. He added that the report had initially reached the Ministry through Instagram.
