The exercise, held on Wednesday, 1st April 2026, was designed to educate drivers and members of the public on personal safety, crime prevention, and the importance of reporting suspicious activity to the police. Officers engaged directly with residents, offering practical guidance on how to stay safe and contribute to a more secure society.

A special session was organised for drivers and members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Delta State chapter, in Asaba. The session focused on road safety and responsible conduct, with drivers advised to obey traffic regulations, avoid reckless driving, keep their vehicle particulars up to date, and respect law enforcement officers while carrying out their duties. The initiative aims to reduce road accidents and enhance orderliness across the state.
