The suspects were identified as Favor Isaac (25), along with Favour Felix (24) and Samson Precious (19).

Police executed a search warrant at the gang’s hideout on River Road in Ogbomoro community. Officers recovered 21 bottles of CSC Codeine, two canisters of nitrous oxide – commonly known as “laughing gas” – two packs of a suspected psychoactive chewing gum branded “Highness Gum”, and 640 grammes of a substance believed to be Canadian Loud, a potent strain of cannabis. The drugs were found concealed in various bags and containers.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that one Rukewe Tega Isaac, who remains at large, is alleged to be the major supplier behind the network. Police said efforts are under way to apprehend him and other members of the syndicate.

Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, reaffirmed the command’s commitment to sustaining aggressive operations against drug trafficking and related crime.
