OPERATIVES of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and troops of the Nigerian Army in a coordinated joint operation have intercepted and apprehended 46 suspected undocumented migrants in Ogun State, South West Nigeria.
The group consists of 23 nationals from Côte d’Ivoire, 18 from Burkina Faso, four Togolese, and one Senegalese.
Officials say investigations are currently ongoing to determine the legal status of the migrants before further administrative and legal actions are taken.
