15 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested In Abuja

THE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 15 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

The operation was carried out by operatives from the Makurdi Zonal Directorate, who received credible intelligence linking the suspects to fraudulent online activities.

The suspects were apprehended at Amax Apartment in Guzape, Abuja. Upon searching their premises, the EFCC recovered several items, including:

  • A Toyota Highlander with a customized registration number (BORNO AAA)
  • Phones: several mobile devices were seized
