POLICE operatives from Oghara and Sapele Divisions of the Delta State Police Command have arrested five suspects and recovered weapons during an intelligence-led operation at three cultists and armed robbers locations in Oghara town, Ethiope East Local Government Area.

It was gathered that the team, led by ASP Julius Robinson, last Thursday night, raided various locations and arrested five male suspects namely: Ochuko Joel Ofoye, of Jeddo Community in Okpe LGA, Michael Anwul, 29, of Alisimie Community Agbor, in Ika South LGA; Great Ojareri, 35, of Oghareki Community in Ethiope West LGA, and Innocent Esefeta, 31, of Efisere Community in Ughelli North LGA; Ogaga Ebuke, 27, of Okpe Community in Orerokpe LGA.
According to SP Bright Edafe, the command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in a statement made available to CrimesChroniclers, all suspects were said to be members of Juris Confraternity and Eiye Confraternity respectively.
Also, two AK 47 Magazines and 29 rounds of ammunition, a Beretta pistol, and a locally-made pistol with one live cartridge were recovered from them.
