Officers locate shooting victim abandoned inside vehicle

SHERIFF Ed Gonzalez, on Monday, said officers located a shooting victim inside a vehicle parked in a west Harris County driveway.

Gonzalez posted on social media that deputies responded to a shooting in the 24100 block of Avogadro Lane, which holds a Katy address but is in county jurisdiction, according to ABC13.

Deputies located a man with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle parked in a residential driveway, the sheriff said.

CrimesChroniclers learnt that first responders rushed the victim to the hospital in critical condition.

The sheriff didn’t immediately disclose any other details, including whether the victim lives at the residence or drove himself there and whether deputies are searching for a suspect.
