Pastor Uses Fake Prophecies To Sleep With Girls In Delta

POLICE in Delta State have arrested a Sapele-based pastor accused of using fabricated prophecies to sexually exploit vulnerable female church members, including minors.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, disclosed that the arrest followed a petition filed on 13 October 2025 against Pastor Daniel Ololo of the Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry. The petition alleged defilement, rape, and serial sexual abuse.

Following the directive of the Commissioner of Police, detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department apprehended the pastor on 17 November at his church premises.

Investigations revealed that the pastor allegedly coerced female members into believing they required sexual intercourse with him to receive spiritual deliverance.

 Police also discovered that he had unlawful carnal knowledge of three sisters from the same family, with the youngest victim being 17 years old.

The suspect is currently in custody, and further investigations are ongoing.
